School of Kriya deals with Ritualistic studies of Hinduism.
This school focuses on Temple Sciences. There are so many different kinds of rites and rituals. Hinduism has got at least a few million rituals, not a few thousand or not a few lakhs, a few millions of rituals. So many thousands of mudras, so many thousands of types of Homa, so many thousands of types of the Pūjās; millions of rituals. We can relate with the Existence, we can relate to the Cosmic Energy through all these five elements.
The School of Kriya, focuses on the ritualistic element of the temple-based lifestyle. Homas (sacred Fire rituals), Abhishekams (sacred bath), Alankar (sacred dressing up of the deities), Puja (prayer), Chanting of mantras (verbalization of sounds – mostly Sanskrit based), temple celebrations (all aspects related to this such as chariots, flower arrangements, lighting, etc) are handled in the programs offered by the School of Kriya.
