Department of Hindu Psychobiology
About
Department of Hindu Psychobiology
The Department of Hindu Psychobiology at KAILASA’s Nithyananda Hindu University delves into the ancient wisdom encoded in the Upanishads, which dates back over 20,000 years. These texts describe the multi-layered aspects of the self, known in Sanskrit as ‘Koshas.’ The Upanishads teach that one’s true self comprises these five sheaths, and understanding, cleansing, healing, and integrating them are vital to wholeness.
As the only department in the world conducting advanced research on the koshas and chakras, insights from the Upanishads are being decoded by THE SPH BHAGAVAN SRI NITHYANANDA PARAMASHIVAM. This cutting-edge research unveils a profound understanding of how our perceptions of the body and mind influence overall health.
The department’s research has significant implications for both mental and physical health. It demonstrates that working on our body, mind, and emotions can lead to comprehensive health benefits.
